39 Weeks!!

Pregnancy Week 39: This is it!!!

How Far Along: 39 Weeks!

Total Weight Gain:  27 pounds... sheesh I know, I've packed it all on at the end!!

Maternity Clothes: Yep, but this dress is just a maxi I got at Target long ago!!

Stretch Marks: Nope!!!  Thanks Mom!

Sleep: Ah the same, I have good nights and bad nights, the past couple of nights have been borderline miserable!!!

Best Moment this week: Nothing exciting really stands out, just getting anxious!

Miss Anything? Nope!

Movement: Yep, less kicking and more just flipping and flopping, she's calming down in there because I think she's out of room!

Food Cravings: Nope! Well, I would like to have some watermelon but I don't really think that's a craving.

Anything making you sick or queasy: Nope!

Gender:  Female

Labor Signs: Well on Wednesday I had my membranes stripped... I would never suggest doing that if you are only 1cm dilated.. OUCH...  I literally came OFF the table and was scooting away from the doctor and she was chasing me up the table!  NOT FUN.  And probably due to the sweep on Wednesday, yesterday (Friday) I had some bloody show.  This could mean labor is coming soon or not, for me I guess it's not because I've had no contractions, just cramping on and off.  So it looks like it's induction time for me.

Symptoms: Bloody show, cramping, movement, VERY emotional -- on the verge of an emotional wreck actually!

Belly Button in or out? Out!

Wedding Rings on or off? Off, actually I could wear my wedding band but I know I can't when it's delivery time so I'm just leaving it here.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Gosh, lately I've been very moody.  I feel sorry for the cat and Kyle lol!

Delivery Scoop: So my due date is this coming Friday (May 10).  My doctor will be in surgery that day.  So my only options for an induction is to get induced Thursday or wait until the following Tuesday.  I'm opting for a day early.  There are lots of factors that have caused me to opt for the induction including but not limited to: the fact that I have to drive 2 hours to get to the hospital, it gives Kyle and I a peace of mind knowing he won't have to deliver Presley on the side of the interstate, guestimated size, the longer she's in there, the bigger she'll get and they already think she'll be an 8 pounder! Fluid levels: at 35 weeks when they did the ultrasound my fluid levels were "good" at 14, however they deteriorate over time and "low" is considered below 10, the further you go, the more risk you run of lower fluid levels.  Placental health: starting at about 36 weeks, the placenta starts to deteriorate and nourish less -- the longer past 40 weeks you go, the less the placenta nourishes.  Finally -- fear.  My husband and I have known of various mothers who have delivered babies at 39-40 weeks gestation that were still-born.  I know this is rare but in my selfish heart I would rather have my baby while I know it is alive and healthy than just let it stay in there as long as possible and run that risk.  Call me selfish, I suppose I am.  I am just super ready to meet this baby girl and I'm willing to do anything to insure that happens.  Now, I know with an induction I also run the risk of complications and increased chances of a C-section and all that, I am mentally prepared for all those outcomes but I just pray the Lord is with us and creates a happy and healthy delivery.

So Wednesday night (8th) I will go into the hospital at 9pm and they will administer 9 hours of cervadil.  Cervadil is similar to a suppository that secretes a substance that causes your cervix to begin to thin and dilate (since mine has been at 1cm/50-60% for 4 weeks now).  Sometimes this is all women need to get labor going, I'm hoping I'm one of those women -- not likely though.  Thursday morning at 7:30 they are planning to start the induction by administering pitocin.  Pitocin is a synthetic hormone that mimics oxytocin (the natural one in the body that causes labor and contractions).  I am not excited about the pitocin as I had made plans to have this baby without medicinal pain relief, however with pitocin come STRONG and HARD contractions very close together, so I have decided that if they do have to use pitocin, I will be opting for the epidural.  Now, my plan is to actually get as far as possible without it in hopes that labor will progress as much as possible so we'll see.  This entire process will probably take anywhere from 8-10 hours depending on how well my body reacts to the pitocin.  So we are looking for Presley Blair Wolfe to be arriving sometime Thursday afternoon/evening time.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers all week leading up to D-Day!

Who knows, maybe she'll make her own appearance before Wednesday night even rolls around, if that's the case, GREAT, if not, then we've got a plan.  If things go well, we should be be home in time to celebrate Mother's Day together as a family -- and for that I am very excited!

The next blog post should be filled with pictures of our new baby girl! YAY

The piggy bank is from Home Goods (thanks Nana)

Here are photos. One is a panoramic shot I took with this iPhone, be sure to focus on the changing table lol!

38 weeks!!! 2 weeks to go!!

How Far Along: 38 weeks

Total Weight Gain: 25 pounds sheesh!

Maternity Clothes: yep, but in this pic it's just a normal dress and sweater I've had for years!

Stretch Marks: Nope!

Sleep: Well I have good days and bad days. Some nights I wake up to per and can't fall back asleep then some nights I drift right off, back still wakes me up hurting often!

Best Moment this week: Doctor's appointment. Mom came with me this time so we had girls day and had lunch and shopped a bit, it was nice :). Also doc told me she has my due date as May 10, not May 12... Not that it makes that big of a difference so we'll see! She also checked me again, still only 1cm dilated but 60% effaced now... I'm still thinking it may be a while! I'm not ready to start all those old wives tales ways to induce labor, I may change my mind soon though! Lol

Miss Anything? Nope!!

Movement: Yep, she's been getting energy bursts more often, I'm thinking its where I'm less active do she sleeps less, who knows!

Food Cravings: None really this week!

Anything making you sick or queasy: Nope!

Gender: Female

Labor Signs: nothing but feeling kinda crampy at night/sleep/morning time. No false labor. No Braxton hicks. No mucus plug loss. No nothing!

Symptoms: big belly, crampy, starting to get emotional more often, but that's it. I'm still heartburn free so that excited me!!

Belly Button in or out? OUT... wayyyyy out!

Wedding Rings on or off? Off, well my wedding band is still on but the engagement set is OFF for sure

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, and very very anxious!!!! I cannot believe she'll be here in 2 short weeks!

37 Weeks!!!

37 Weeks Pregnant: 3 more weeks! Oh my gosh!!!!!

How Far Along: 37 weeks

Total Weight Gain:  23 pounds, I know, I gained a lot in a week.  But doctor didn't seem too concerned since I'm still "under" so it's okay I GUESS!! LOL

Maternity Clothes: yep, both my jeans and my shirt are from Motherhood Maternity

Stretch Marks: Nope!

Sleep: Well I know last week I complained but I've actually slept really well this week, surprisingly, so that's good!

Best Moment this week: Doctor's appointment.  She checked me and I'm 50% effaced but only dilated 1 cm, which means I probably still have  a way to go but it made it so real that labor is imminent! Yay!

Also, I started maternity leave this past Friday so I finished everything up at school so that's pretty exciting!!

Miss Anything? Not really!!

Movement: Yea, but her movements are less sharp and detailed I'm guessing because she's running out of room.  She still gets the hiccups often though so that's always reassuring!!

Food Cravings: None really this week!

Anything making you sick or queasy: Nope, I could probably still go without red meat but it doesn't make me "queasy".

Gender: Female

Labor Signs: Still feeling sorta crampy but doc says that's where my cervix is thinning out, but no contractions yet!

Symptoms: None other than the obvious!

Belly Button in or out? OUT... wayyyyy out!

Wedding Rings on or off? Off, well my wedding band is still on but the engagement set is OFF for sure

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, and very very anxious!!!! I cannot believe she'll be here in 3 short weeks!

Pregnancy Week 36

Pregnancy Week 36:

How Far Along: 36 Weeks

Total Weight Gain:  22 pounds, not sure how I gained 2 pounds in a week but... oh well! LOL

Maternity Clothes: Yep, but in this picture it's just maternity jeans and a normal t-shirt I've had (hence you can see its tightness lol)

Stretch Marks: Nope!

Sleep: For some reason this week I have slept very well (other than one night), now don't get me wrong, I'm still up multiple times to go pee BUT I fall right back asleep and my back/hip/knee pain doesn't keep me up!

Best Moment this week: Ultrasound at the doctor (probably the last one until labor), she's measuring around 5 pounds, 11 ounces and it's estimated that she'll be about 7 pounds, 12 ounces by birth if she continues to grow at the same rate, on a positive note, she doesn't seem to have a big head (says the doctor) so that may make labor easier lol... guess she'll get a pea head from her Daddy  because LORD KNOWS she won't get it from me! Doctor also said my fluid levels look good (ranging at about a 14 and 10-20 is "good"), the umbilical cord is still nice and "juicy" says Dr. Steele so that's why she's getting so big, my baby CAN EAT!

Miss Anything? Nope!

Movement: Yep, but it seems to have decreased somewhat because I think she's running out of room.  Dr. Steel called it "very taught in there"!

Food Cravings: Nope!

Anything making you sick or queasy: Nope!

Gender: Female

Labor Signs: I've been feeling a little period-crampy but Dr. Steele says that's perfectly normal, we're hitting the home stretch!!

Symptoms: crampy, growing belly, rising number on the scales.  I'm still so lucky because I haven't had heartburn, morning sickness, fatigue (other than in the first trimester), this has been a pretty symptom-free pregnancy and I am so thankful! I am, however, starting to swell a tad bit in my feet, by about 1:00 in the school day, it's pretty painful and I have to either elevate them while I'm at school or hurry home and prop them up.  Dr. Steele says that's also normal for this stage in pregnancy... whatev.

Belly Button in or out? Out and there ain't no hidin' it!  We were walking through the mall after my appointment and 2 guys passed us and one was just looking at my belly and smiling and I said, "Kyle, why is he smiling at my belly?" and Kyle says, "probably because of that goofy-looking belly button!!!"

Wedding Rings on or off? OFF!  I can put them on in the morning by by about noon I can't get them off, so I'm just going to leave them off!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Very happy!!  Cannot wait until PRESLEY BLAIR WOLFE is here to see us!!! Less than 4 weeks!!!

Pregnancy Week 35

Pregnancy Week 35!

How Far Along: 35 Weeks

Total Weight Gain:  20 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Yep, except this dress is just a "large" from JC Penney

Stretch Marks: Nope!

Sleep: Not too great, I get up multiple times to pee and my back/hips/knees hurt like the dickens!

Best Moment this week: Shower today (last one) hosted by family and friends!

Miss Anything? Just sleep!

Movement: yep, she's all over the place!

Food Cravings: Not really any more!

Anything making you sick or queasy: Nope!

Gender: Female

Labor Signs: Nope!

Symptoms: Growing belly, frequent bathroom trips, etc.

Belly Button in or out? OUT

Wedding Rings on or off? On but they are SNUG!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Very happy!! I can't believe how close we are!! AHHHH

Here is a picture of her closet... I do not think she will be going naked ANYTIME soon... The clothes are arranged by size already with dividers but it is still giving me a bit of anxiety, I'm going to h ave to do something about all the stuff stacked on the shelves and floor... sounds like a good thing to do when I get on maternity leave (only 2 weeks til then!)

I'll leave you all with some random pics from the shower!!!

34 weeks!!

Pregnancy Week 34:

How Far Along: 34 weeks

Total Weight Gain: 18 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Yep! But this picture is just maternity pants and a regular shirt!

Stretch Marks: Nope!

Sleep: Mostly on and off all night long. My back or hips usually hurt or I have to get up to pee so it's usually interrupted often.

Best Moment this week: shower at church! We got so much good stuff and shared it with so many great people!!

Miss Anything? Yes, solid sleep. I suppose I can kiss those nights goodbye for a long time, right?!?

Movement: ALL the time -- she's everywhere, sometimes SHE wakes me up at night having a dance party in there!

Food Cravings: Nope, not really!

Anything making you sick or queasy: oddly enough I'm kinda reverting back to not liking meat... Hmm?!?

Gender: Female

Labor Signs: Nope! 6 weeks left!

Symptoms: just the belly, hurting back, and insomnia. I'm more tired during the day than I used to be but I think that's because of not sleeping well!

Belly Button in or out? Aw crap, I guess we'll call it an outie!

Wedding Rings on or off? Off at night, on during the day

Happy or Moody most of the time: So very happy, and getting very anxious and nervous and excited!!

33 weeks!!

Pregnancy Week 33:

How Far Along: 33 weeks

Total Weight Gain: 18 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Yep, but in the picture I'm not. I'm just wearing a maxi dress from a few summers back!

Stretch Marks: Nope!

Sleep: Not good! Hip and knee pain all night long!!

Best Moment this week: doctors appointment and hearing that everything is right on track!! My belly is actually measuring a week ahead but well see!!

Miss Anything? Nope, I'm still letting myself have whatever I want -- sushi, caffeine (once or twice per week), whatever whenever!

Movement: Yes!! Especially the hiccups!! She gets the hiccups about a couple times a day but I've read that's a good sign if diaphragm development and thus breathing once out of the womb so yay!

Food Cravings: Nothing specific really anymore!

Anything making you sick or queasy: Nope!!

Gender: Female

Labor Signs: nope!! 7 more weeks!!

Symptoms: insomnia, hip/back pain, and this growing tummy

Belly Button in or out? Gosh I dunno it's still sorta half-and-half but is weird!

Wedding Rings on or off? On during the day, off at night!

Happy or Moody most of the time: So very happy!! I am so excited and with all the gifts and things I've received piling up, it's making it so much more real and exciting!!

Pregnancy Week 32!

Pregnancy Week 32:

How Far Along: 32 weeks, 2 days

Total Weight Gain:  18 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Yep, but in the picture I'm not.  I'm just wearing some Old Navy sweats and an Express tank -- I suppose that's why the bump looks SUPER big-- because the clothes ain't hidin' it!

Stretch Marks: Nope!

Sleep: Not good.  I was awake last night at 3am and never even went back to sleep.  Fortunately, I wasn't tired at all today during work, but I'm starting to feel it now.  I rushed and did all my chores when I got home and I'm getting ready to fix supper so it can be an early/lazy night on the couch. I just have bouts of insomnia a few nights a week.  However, on Friday night, I slept like Rip Van Winkle had been visiting, it was amazing.  I was asleep by 11 and slept until after 9 -- HEAVENLY!

Best Moment this week: Oh I have 3!!
1. Going to the doctor last Tuesday!! I passed my 3-hour glucose test with "flying colors"... Hallelujah! I may be bruised (and yes, I am STILL bruised almost a week later). She estimates that baby will be around 7 pounds, 6 ounces by birth so that's a good healthy weight.  I only gained one pound in 2 weeks though so she's watching me for that to make sure the weight continues to go up about a pound weekly.  Baby seems to still be head-down (You better stay that way little one!), and her heartbeat was a beautiful 140bpm.

2. Finally getting the nursery painted and semi-set up.  So we aren't DONE with the nursery yet BUT at least we've made a start.  We had painters come Tuesday while we were at the doctor so that was nice to come home to.  Once the paint smell had subsided, we set up the crib (thank you sister -- it belonged to my niece), the crib bedding (thank you Pat & Roger Wolfe -- their present to us), the changing table (again, thank you sister), and organized the closet with all the goodies I have received thus far!! We are still on the look-out for a gaudy white mirror to hang above the bed (although I will have nightmares of it falling down and crushing her but Kyle assures me that it will not), and I'm ordering an awesome pale pink metal plaque with her initial on it to go above the changing table (that is... when we decide on a name and I actually KNOW her initial)!!  But here are some pictures of the progress:

3. Having my baby shower at work.  I swear, they sure made me feel so special.  Not only was the library at school decorated SOOOOO cute (pictures coming, I just haven't had time to upload them from the camera I used), but the food was amazing, and they all went in and bought me the stroller travel-system (which was a HUGE surprise!!!!), on top of that, some teachers even went beyond and bought MORE things for me and baby, and the art teacher even drew and painted a cute picture of an elephant.  I felt so loved and appreciated, and celebrated that if I were one of those emotional pregnant women, I would have cried! LOL!!  Kyle and I managed to put the stroller travel system together Saturday and I can't wait to have a little baby down in there to push around!! :)

Miss Anything? Nope, I'm still letting myself have whatever I want -- sushi, caffeine (once or twice per week), whatever whenever!

Movement: Yes!! ALL THE TIME, although when Bub is around wanting to feel her movements she completely stops.  He spent nearly 45 minutes Friday night trying to round her up for some kick time and she wasn't having any of it!  He's still not been able to feel her kick!

Food Cravings: Nothing specific really anymore

Anything making you sick or queasy: Nope!!

Gender: Female

Labor Signs: Nope, let's pray they hold off for at least 6 weeks!

Symptoms: insomnia, hip/back pain, and this growing tummy

Belly Button in or out? Still half out, half flat, I would say it'll be out by next week :(  An outie really grosses me out (sorry to any of you with outies), I just don't like the look.  Sister-in-law suggested wearing a band-aid over it -- I may just do that! lol

Wedding Rings on or off? On during the day, off at night!

Happy or Moody most of the time: So very happy!!  I am so excited and with all the gifts and things I've received piling up, it's making it so much more real and exciting!!

31 Weeks!

Pregnancy Week 31:

How Far Along: 31 weeks

Total Weight Gain:  17 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Yep!  This is another dress from Motherhood Maternity paired with an old Ralph Lauren sweater (of course it does not button)

Stretch Marks: Nope!

Sleep: Mostly on and off all night long.  My back or hips usually hurt or I have to get up to pee so it's usually interrupted often.

Best Moment this week: I can't honestly remember because I'm almost 2 weeks behind. lol

Miss Anything? Nope, I'm letting myself have everything I've been missing out on: sushi (cooked), caffeine (limit once per week), I guess I do miss my long, un-interrupted sleep!

Movement: ALL the time -- she's everywhere, sometimes SHE wakes me up at night having a dance party in there!

Food Cravings: Nope, not really even sweets anymore like I had been!  I got a hankering for some ice cream the other day so Kyle took me to dairy bar and got me some Superman -- heavenly!

Anything making you sick or queasy: Nope!

Gender: Female

Labor Signs: Nope!

Symptoms: Nothing but the belly and the back aches!  I canNOT bend over anymore, it is pathetic really, and getting up off the couch -- well that is quite the humorous sight to see.  Kyle just shakes his head at me but it really is embarrassing lol!

Belly Button in or out? the top left side is out and the bottom right side is flat, I'm sure it's just a matter of time!

Wedding Rings on or off? Off at night, on during the day

Happy or Moody most of the time: So very happy, and getting very anxious and nervous and excited all rolled in to one!  Only 9 weeks to go!  Oh my goodness!!

Monday, March 4, 2013

Pregnancy Week: 30 -- back on track (hopefully)

How Far Along: 30 weeks

Total Weight Gain:  18 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Yep!

Stretch Marks: Nope!

Sleep: Not so good because of the back and hip pain

Best Moment this week: My first baby shower!!  It was hosted by 2 sorority sisters, Kelly & Lucy and it was at the Bodley-Bullock House in Lexington (which holds sentimental value).  It was lovely, there were so many college friends there and it was so nice to get to catch-up.  The food was great and baby Wolfe got all kinds of goodies!  I also received some good news there about a couple of friends who are expecting too so that made it even better!

Here we are at the shower!  Kelly, me, & Lucy!

Miss Anything? Missing some soda, I'd love to drink one but I failed my 1-hour glucose test last week so I'm trying to watch my sugar intake until my 3-hour fasting test coming up Friday! YIKES!

Movement: All the time!

Food Cravings: Just poor ole sweets still :(

Anything making you sick or queasy: Nope!

Gender: Female

Labor Signs: Nope!

Symptoms: Growing belly, weight gain, movement, sweets cravings, back & hip pain, etc.

Belly Button in or out? Half-out, half-in if that makes any sense at all!

Wedding Rings on or off? On during the day and off at night

Happy or Moody most of the time: Very very happy, although when my doctor called me to tell me that I failed the glucose test I was very very sad and had to refrain from crying!

Here is Zoom lying on his baby sister!

Pregnancy Week: 29 -- Oh my gosh I am so behind, I skipped week 28 and this picture was technically taken closer to 30 weeks... time just gets away from me!!!

How Far Along: 29 weeks

Total Weight Gain:  17 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Yes, everyday!

Stretch Marks: Nope, thankfully!

Sleep: Still not so great when my back hurts!

Best Moment this week: I can't really remember because I'm writing this a week later lol

Miss Anything? Not really!

Movement: Yes, more and more every day!

Food Cravings: Just sweets still, but not nearly as crazy as I used to!

Anything making you sick or queasy: Nope!

Gender: Female

Labor Signs: Nope!

Symptoms: Big growing belly, movements, back pain, sweets cravings, frequent urination, etc.

Belly Button in or out? Mostly flat but part of it looks like it's coming out!

Wedding Rings on or off? On during the day, off at night!

Happy or Moody most of the time: So very happy!!  I don't even have that "emotional pregnant woman" syndrome you see in movies!

Pregnancy Week 27

How Far Along: 27 weeks (this post is a little behind but I'll pretend this is Saturday)

Total Weight Gain:  10.5 pounds

Maternity Clothes: yep, daily!

Stretch Marks: nope

Sleep: HORRIBLE... I am SO SO achy! My hips, knees, but especially my sacrum.  I'm now sleeping with a pillow between my legs and going to the chiropractor.  It is literally KILLING me.  I guess I'm gonna have to stop standing up as much in the classroom!

Best Moment this week: It's been a pretty uneventful week.  Baby is still pressing on one part of my abdomen... going on 3 weeks now, it sometimes feels like I'm getting ripped open from the inside so that would be WORSE MOMENT THIS WEEK.  I'm not sure if it's her heel or something worse but I'm gonna make them check it out on the ultrasound.  If I push on that spot she kicks me back like, "uh mom, i'm sleeping here!"

Miss Anything? Nope, not this week!  I don't even miss caffeine.  I suppose I could say I miss sleeping soundly and pain-free!

Movement: Yep, very very often, especially when I lie down but I'm seeing an increase in movement at random times during the day too!

Food Cravings: Nothing really right now, well I'm digging fruit A LOT.  Kyle and I have apples and grapes just about every evening!

Anything making you sick or queasy: Nope!

Gender: Female

Labor Signs: Nope

Symptoms: Just achy joints in my sacrum and hips but the chiropractor makes me feel like a new woman each week!!

Belly Button in or out? Still in, but it's migrating outward I do believe!

Wedding Rings on or off? On during the day and I take them off at night because my hands swell in the night and I wake up with them snugly fit on there so better safe than sorry...

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy most of the time, my moods can change pretty quickly though.... just ask my students!!

Saturday, February 2, 2013

Pregnancy Week 26:

How Far Along: 26 weeks

Total Weight Gain:  almost 10 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Yep, except this shirt, can't you tell? LOL

Stretch Marks: Nope!

Sleep: Sometimes good, sometimes bad.  I have bouts of insomnia about 4 nights a week... which is miserable, other nights my hips hurt from sleeping on my side so much... I must invest in a pillow I can put between my knees.  But then other nights I sleep perfectly! I suppose it all depends!

Best Moment this week: Getting beat up by the baby! Last night she kicked the fire out of me for about 2 hours straight and it was awesome.  I love the reassurance knowing that she's okay.  I could even lift up my shirt and watch her moving around in there -- very neat.

Miss Anything? Not really missing anything this week! My decaf coffee is even cutting it for me right now! :)

Movement: Yep, daily.  There are days when she's less active and it scares me to death but she always makes up for it the following day... I suppose she has lazy days like Mommy!

Food Cravings: Nope, my sweets cravings has even cooled it a bit, I'm digging fruit right now.  Last night Kyle and I ate half a pound of grapes in one sitting.  I'm also putting blueberries in my cereal every morning and having a banana every evening... which reminds me, I need to go the grocery and get some more fruit, apples are sounding pretty tasty right now!

Anything making you sick or queasy: Nope!

Gender: Female

Labor Signs: None!

Symptoms: Growing belly, movement, various bouts of insomnia, but that's about it!

Belly Button in or out? In but still looking odd, I'd say it's just a matter of time!

Wedding Rings on or off? On, but I'm taking them off at night because I've read horror stories of people waking up and having to get them sawed off... lol

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! I did get a little emotional watching American Idol the other night, and I've been stressed at school (but that was warranted) but 97% of the time I'm just super happy! :)

Looking forward to: Well we officially have everything for the nursery now except the crib bedding so I would love to get that baby painted and set up, but right now we've got a guy in here tiling our master bathroom floor and shower, and Kyle is in the process of painting and updating the downstairs bathroom so I'm sure it's still a few weeks out.  Plus I would like to get the bedding first so the crib doesn't look so bare.  Maybe I'll order that online today! :)

25 Weeks!

How Far Along: In this picture, 25w2d

Total Weight Gain:  9 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Yup!

Stretch Marks: Nope!

Sleep: Horrible!  I have insomnia every single night.  Last night I didn't fall asleep until about 1am and I was up by 5.  I know that 4 hours of sleep is NOT enough to keep me going, I guess that explains my headache.  I have about 2-3 hours of insomnia every night, I believe it is slowly killing me.

Best Moment this week: Well we got the crib and glider and changing table and bassinet now so that's pretty exciting. The room isn't painted so none of it is really set up but we're making some progress!

Worst Moment this week: There was one day I didn't really feel her move very much and to a much smaller degree when she did.  I quietly freaked out for 24 hours but it must have just been a lazy day!  Also, I took a tumble down my steps... that wasn't fun!  My entire backside is covered in bruises.  It hurts to stand.  It hurts to sit.  On the bright side, I didn't fall forwards so I'm thankful to the Lord for that.

Miss Anything? Still caffeine, and I'm trying to cut back on the sugar some but I don't know if I miss it yet or not, I'm guessing I don't...

Movement: Yep!  Everyday, but some more than others!

Food Cravings: Nothing in particular at this moment actually!

Anything making you sick or queasy: Nope!

Gender: Female

Labor Signs: Nope!

Symptoms: INSOMNIA

Belly Button in or out? Still in, but getting more and more shallow by the day! :(

Wedding Rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy except for today because I'm SOOOO sleepy due to lack of sleep.  Also, I guess my pregnancy hormones are getting out there because apparently the students are saying things like, "that's not Mrs. Wolfe talking, that's those hormones..." and I thought I was doing well! LOL

Pregnancy Week 24

How Far Along: 24 weeks

Total Weight Gain:  6 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Yep, both my shirt and pants are from Motherhood Maternity

Stretch Marks: Nope!

Sleep: I'm sleeping great until about 6am then I toss and turn for an hour or so.

Best Moment this week: This has been a pretty uneventful week… I'm not complaining.  I'm a strong believer in the "no news is good news" thing.  I go back to the doctor on Tuesday for another ultrasound and check up… yay!

Miss Anything? Nope, I gave in and had a Pepsi… I know, I'm a bad mother.  But I enjoyed every single second of it.  I haven't craved it since so I just needed to give in!

Movement: Yep, and her movements are getting harder and more pronounced.  There are times I can actually LOOK at my belly and see her moving, that's pretty cool!

Food Cravings: Just sweet stuff still.  I had a piece of Kentucky Silk Pie last night that was divine.  I also dreamt about strawberry ice cream so I had to go buy that and it was divine as well! :)

Anything making you sick or queasy: Nope!

Gender: Girl

Labor Signs: Nope

Symptoms: Nope, just moving baby!!

Belly Button in or out? In still.

Wedding Rings on or off? On!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy all the time.
